Welcome to Cedar Ridge Elementary School!
At Cedar Ridge Elementary, located in Hyde Park, Utah, we inspire young minds to grow and thrive in a nurturing, community-focused environment. Our school is dedicated to fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in every student.
Good To Know, Summer Info!
Some quick summer info for those who stay in the know. Class lists will be available on PowerSchool when it comes back online after its yearly rollover on July 31. We are planning on having a Back to School Night on August 24, 4:30PM-6:30PM. We have a new logo and are working on new shirts and spirit pack merchandise to rep our new DLI school. We will have more info in the fall. Keep having an awesome summer!
New Start Time for Next Year!
We will be starting school at 8:30 AM next year at our DLI magnet schools in CCSD. There are no buses running to the magnet schools. We know that parents will be providing the majority of transportation for our students. We hope that an earlier start time helps our families accommodate transportation schedules of students between multiple schools.

Georgianne “Georgie” Jensen has spent 27 years teaching first grade. She is beloved by her colleagues and students, whom she describes as “mine forever.” Now, as she prepares for a well-deserved retirement, Cedar Ridge Elementary celebrates her as the 2025-26 Teacher of the Year.

Cedar Ridge's Will Diepeveen and Green Canyon's Julianna Carrillo both won awards at the state level for their thoughtful responses to the prompt "I Belong."
